Access to Jobs (AtJ), a program funded by the Massachusetts Department of Transitional Assistance (DTA) and managed by TransAction Associates, Inc.finds transportation solutions for those transitioning off public assistance into the workforce. The program offers a variety of efficient, cost-effective modes of commuting to work and education/training programs for those having difficulty accessing reliable transportation. 

Current and certain former DTA recipients who are transitioning into the workforce are eligible for free transportation to work for up to six months. In addition, current recipients participating in education/training programs are also eligible for transportation assistance. The local DTA office must certify eligibility prior to using any of the services. DTA provides additional transportation programs for recipients who are participating in education/training programs.  Contact your local DTA office for information on these additional programs.
